Italian specialist brand Fedrigoni is renowned for its fine papers, which it manufactures for printing, publishing,
labelling, bookbinding, packaging, security systems, and even for use as currency. Founded in 1717,
the company has a long history of market leadership - and is now launching a luxurious new line of paper called Materica.
Materica is available in three weights, and is made of long, FSC-certified cellulose fibers that are resistant to wrinkles.
Designed for use in packaging, it has a natural and tactile feel that Fedrigoni has described as "eco-chic".
The product is available in seven natural colours, and is free of additives, paints, plastic coatings, and de-inking or bleaching treatments. This eco-friendly focus is a continuation of the brand's committed environmental policy, in place since the 1950s. The adidas Originals portfolio was extended by a stunning Star Wars collection with two major lines, The Characters Packand the Vehicles ones. To create the footwear and T-shirts the designers draw inspiration from the various scenes and characters of the Star Wars series.
The items from the collection feature iconic moments and characters (Darth Vader, the Stormtroopers, Princess Leia and others) from the Star Wars saga on sneakers, short sleeve T-shirts, as well as the Superstar Track Top. The legendary vehicles became the key theme of the second line — it has airborne crafts and land based cars on five most iconic adidas Originals sneakers and two key adidas Originals apparel models.

Glasfurd & Walker were commissioned to design the identity, signage, menus, stationery,
and website for Pizzeria Farina, an italian style pizzeria that opened in September 2011.
The concept behind the restaurant was a simple one – do one thing really well.
The client’s aim was to create a simple, community-focused, Northern Italian-inspired pizzeria.
The menu is simple, consisting only of pizza and beverages, and the atmosphere is stylish, casual and comfortable.
As part of the design, italian phrases that reflect the ethos of the restaurant are printed
largely on stationery and packaging: “Nella vita – chi non risica – non rosica.”
In life: who risks nothing – gains nothing.
“L’occhio del padrone ingrassa il cavallo.”
“Nobody takes care of one’s business as does its owner.”
“A correre e cagare ci si immerda i garretti.”
Don’t try to do too many things at once, just do one thing and do it well.
Pizzeria Farina has a classic serve-yourself concept that is meant to inspire a sense of community.
“Everyone looks after themselves … from ordering at the counter, to pouring their own water to
bussing their own plates.” The design is simple and sleek; no fuss like the food concept.
Table tops and grocery shelves are all made from reclaimed wood and add colour to the clean
white and red environment. Packaging was designed for the house made artisan Italian products:
house-made raw tomato sauce, house-made Chili-Infused and Oregano-Infused Olive Oil.

We see guys trending to tradition, so whether we are talking fashion, or choice of barber, guys are looking for simple and traditional surroundings. The shop is NOT a lounge, or place to get spaservices. We want to keep it simple and build a reputation for excellence in barbering and service.
traditional look, but also to blend textures (such as fine leather, and porcelain chairs + rough cut
reclaimed Douglas fir flooring) allowing the space to be usable and comfortable.

Baltimore-based artist, Dan Everett, has a great body of work that really packs in a detailed glimpse into the artist’s comedically strange mind. With inspiration coming form Indian miniatures and Buddhist Mandalas, Everett’s pieces feature bizarre characters that are born from a stream-of-conscience making process. As a way to give back to the city he works in, Everett displays his work throughout the town by hanging them on abandoned buildings. We’ve got a great selection posted here, but be sure to take a peak at his portfolio site.

Pixels and Polaroids is a series of images created by Jherin Miller that combines pseudo-Polaroid
photography and retro 80s era video game graphics. The concept behind Pixels and Polaroids
was to blend these two elements into one world where pixelated characters live through the eye
of a Polaroid camera. Miller’s goal was to combine retro film photography and retro digital graphics
into one interesting world, where you get to view this world and it’s inhabitants through these this hybrid
of new and old. (via oriental)

Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them – work, family, health, friends and spirit … and you’re keeping all of these in the air.You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls – family, health, friends and spirit – are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or evenshattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for Balance in your life. How?Don’t undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others. It is because we are different that each of us is special.Don’t set your goals by what other people deem important. Only you know what is best for you.Don’t take for granted the things closest to your heart. Cling to them as you would your life, for without them, life is meaningless.Don’t let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past or for the future. By living your life one day at a time, you live all the days of your life.Don’t give up when you still have something to give. Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.Don’t be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect. It is this fragile thread that binds us to each together.Don’t be afraid to encounter risks. It is by taking chances that we learn how to be pave.Don’t shut love out of your life by saying it’s impossible to find time. The quickest way to receive love is to give; the fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly; and the best way to keep love is to give it wings!Don’t run through life so fast that you forget not only where you’ve been, but also where you are going.Don’t forget, a person’s greatest emotional need is to feel appreciated.Don’t be afraid to learn. Knowledge is weightless, a treasure you can always carry easily.Don’t use time or words carelessly. Neither can be retrieved. Life is not a race, but a journey to be savoured each step of the way…–Brian G. DysonPresident and CEO, Coca-Cola Enterprises during his speech at the Georgia Tech 172nd Commencement Address Sept. 6, 1996
